Facebook Messenger is already optimized and developed to work on Windows phone devices with Windows 8.1 installed. Access the market link and log-in with the Live account attached to phone. After this process, tap on Install on the left side. If it doesn't appear, tap on the same link to change the region then tap on Install. Make sure the phone is connected to the Internet. Confirm the installation, and in a few moments the download should start on your phone.
I can't use FacebookMessenger, because I can't log in. Can you help?

Unfortunately, the developers of this application have not set it up properly for Facebook Login and you can't use it. Also, from what it seems, the software has been discontinued and it is no longer supported. I suggest you use Chit Chat for Facebook instead. If you have issues running the application, make sure your security program and Windows Firewall doesn't block the connection.
This problem usually occurs when you have multiple browsers, you could try to open it with the browsers you have installed and see if it works in one of them. Make sure you clear your browser's cookies and history. If that doesn't work, try to uninstall and install the software again. Also, your problem may be proxy related thus making Facebook Messenger unable to connect, so you want to check there too.
